DSACF Board Member Recognized as Orlando’s 40 Under 40

Ryan Rapolti is known as a “connector” — he helps cultivate new relationships between businesspeople and organizations to create a lasting impact in the Central Florida community.

The president of Orlando-based international telecommunications service provider Magic Telecom has had a successful career with the company for the last nine years. He also earned his real estate license, and in the last year, sold properties in nine Central Florida ZIP codes for a total volume of $2 million just in the last year. And as if that doesn’t keep him busy enough, he also plays a key role as president of Guys With Ties Philanthropy.

Rapolti has been working with Guys With Ties Philanthropy for the last five years, hosting multiple creative fundraising events that each benefitted a unique local nonprofit. The group is known for its “parties with a purpose,” that raise money and bring awareness to several causes in the area. Additionally, he’s spent two years with the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida’s National Down Syndrome Entrepreneur Academy, which helps teens and adults with the condition to start their own micro-enterprises. He’s working with the third group of students in the academy, facility presenters, schedules and curriculum for an eight-month period that includes a six-week boot camp.

Rapolti said his greatest career accomplishment in the last year was leading the effort for the Guys With Ties annual White Party event, which raised a record $22,000 for the organization’s 2019 beneficiary, Kids Beating Cancer. He also mentors students in the University of Central Florida College of Business each semester.

Rapolti was chosen as a winner in Orlando Business Journal‘s 2019 40 Under 40 Awards.
