We Had a Blast!
Thank you to everyone that joined us on World Down Syndrome Day to celebrate! We had cookies, played games, made the most of the playground, and made new friends.
Celebrity golfer, Amy Bockerstette, has a message for YOU!

All monies raised will support our programs, scholarships, therapies, and other educational training for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
What’s Coming Up?
Buddy Up LIVE
Register by 4/5 to join LIVE and interactive Zumba and Kickboxing (recommended 10+) open to all individuals with Down syndrome.
Classes will be 8 weeks long
Kickboxing – Tuesdays, 6-7pm
Zumba – Thursdays, 6-7pm

WhizKIDS
WhizKIDS boxes are designed to keep our loved ones engaged in creating, celebrating and exploring all kinds of activities, topics and themes from the safety of their home. Each kit will also provide therapeutic-like opportunities including sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, and STEM exercises.
Social Club
Calling all teens and adults! Join us for Social Club on weekdays at 5pm. Each day we’ve got fun activities such as Zumba, charades, virtual picnics, arts and crafts, and more!
Ready, Set, Sign
Join us every Friday at 11am on Zoom as Miss Tori teaches us basic sign language. Sign language can be an amazing tool for individuals with Down syndrome and their families to communicate with!
Music with Mar
Music with Mar will take place at Maitland Community Park & (1400 Mayo Ave, Maitland, FL 32751) on the next 6 Mondays. Look for us on the open racquetball court to the left of the main building. All classes take place at 10:15am. Please follow social distancing guidelines to keep everyone safe!
Low Down on Law
APRIL 10, 2021. Low Down on Law is an educational event where expert lawyers, judges, and officials in the Central Florida community come together to break down the legal complexities families with special needs must navigate for their loved ones.
We will have Spanish translation available this time!
Summer Learning Academy (Age 3)
The Summer Learning Academy maximizes student learning by providing instruction and a lot of summer fun! To participate, children should be able to work in small groups safely without requiring ongoing one-on-one assistance. Students should also not engage in any disruptive or dangerous behaviors. We want this to be a fun, educational experience for all of our campers. LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE. FREE for DSACF Members
Summer Learning Academy (K-5)
The Summer Learning Academy maximizes student learning by providing instruction and a lot of summer fun! To participate, students must be able to follow directions and work in a small group without one-on-one assistance. Students should also not engage in any disruptive or dangerous behaviors in group settings. We want this to be a fun, educational experience for all of our campers. This program is currently on a waiting list for DSACF scholarships. However, families can pay full price if they are interested in joining!
