This year, we have Summer Smiles and Preschool Readiness available for our families. Summer Smiles Camp is for K-3 (age range is flexible, just ask!) and Preschool Readiness is for little ones 5 and under.
This three-week long, Monday-Friday, 9am-12:00pm camp provides an authentic school experience for children (ages 3-5) with Down syndrome during the month of July (11-29) in a supportive and fun environment. Pre-K Readiness Camp will be held at the Rollins College Hume House.
This is especially important for children who may be going to a new school in the fall or going to preschool for the very first time, so that they are better prepared and excited to learn.
DSACF is hosting another summer of fun at our Winter Park Success Center building for children ages K-3 (although this is flexible, just ask!). This camp is designed to encourage kids to socialize, play, share with friends, and have FUN!
We will be bringing in three amazing community partners to assist with this camp and make the experience fun and meaningful. The Orlando Science Center, Orlando Fringe, and Central Florida Community Arts (CFCA) will be joining us throughout camp to bring in engaging activities ranging from science to arts.
