Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk

It is with deep sadness that we must announce the postponement of the 26th Annual Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk, in order to prioritize the safety and well-being of our families.
After careful discussions with the City of Orlando, we are working to find a new date. However, we want to be transparent that this may also require a change of venue, and we cannot guarantee that all vendors and planned activities will be available at that time.
Our hearts are heavy with this decision, but please know that we are doing everything possible to explore hosting a modified walk in the future that preserves the spirit and fun of this event.
We deeply value the passion and commitment of our community, and we share your disappointment in not being able to celebrate together at this time. We believe this decision is the most responsible one, especially considering the well-being of those in our community who may be most vulnerable and need time to recover and recuperate.
Thank you for your continued patience. We are deeply grateful for the funds raised. This will allow us to enact emergency assistance and scholarships to help our families navigate these uncertain times with the support they need.
We also remain sensitive to the broader impact this storm may have on our entire community, and we do not want to overlook the hardships that are being faced by so many.
